#Overview

Site investigations and concept planning for the proposed Girringun headquarters in Cardwell

Plan C are working with Girringun Aboriginal Corporation to explore the opportunity to establish a Girringun Headquarters in Cardwell, North Queensland, to become the epicentre for Girringun operations. The Girringun Aboriginal Corporation represents the interests of nine traditional owner groups: Bandjin, Djiru, Girramay, Gugu Badhun, Gulnay, Jirrbal, Nywaigi, Warrgamay and Warungnu.

Girringun Aboriginal Corporation have identified a number of development and use aspirations to centralise their operations and cater for their current programs and potential future opportunities. Plan C have been engaging with the CEO of Girringun Aboriginal Corporation and other Girringun staff to identify the parameters for the project, including confirming proposed uses, understanding the relationship between programs and priorities, and broader corporate objectives.
