#Overview

Social, cultural and community analysis to inform strategic planning in mining towns undergoing significant change.

#Key Outcomes Achieved

Provided a detailed baseline of current provision of social, cultural and community services and facilities in Blackwater and Moranbah.

Identified the current gaps and future needs for services and facilities in both towns through a social infrastructure analysis based on projected population growth and benchmarking.

Delivered a consultation program that engaged a range of stakeholders including private and public service providers, government agencies, resources sector and accommodation providers.
