Tumuruu Solar Farm Community Engagement Australian Solar Enterprises

#Overview

Plan C is undertaking early engagement ahead of a public notification process for the planning application of the proposed Tumuruu Solar Farm.

Plan C has undertaken engagement with key stakeholders to better understand the social context of the site, including providing factual project information to stakeholders about the status, potential impacts and benefits of the project. The aim of our approach has been to engage as many relevant stakeholders as possible in a respectful and enjoyable way.

Community engagement is being undertaken to:
• Map and identify stakeholders and determine potentially affected areas and groups
• Inform stakeholders of the proposed solar farm development and key attributes
• Provide factual information on the development and likely community benefits
• Consult with stakeholders to understand perceptions both positive and negative
