Outcomes


  • Unlocking funding for multiple EDS projects because of our strategic experience and proven capacity to deliver
  • The following projects will provide a foundation to many other strategies in the EDS:

    • Town Centre Masterplanning
    • Town Centre Park Improvements
    • New branding for Yarrabah
    • Tourism Website

key success factors

  • The draft Strategy was built upon high levels of engagement with key stakeholders and identifies the following game changers: Making land available for housing, community infrastructure and business; Town Centre development (park improvements, Supermarket); and, Transport (within & in and out of the town).
  • Plan C is currently working with Economic Development QLD, YASC and the community in the delivery of four major projects allied to the EDS and using a capacity building and skills transfer approach.
  • Funding for these EDS projects was able to be unlocked by Plan C with EDQ because of our strategic experience and proven capacity to deliver.
