Outcomes

  • Provided a detailed baseline of current provision of social, cultural and community services and facilities in Blackwater and Moranbah
  • Identified the current gaps and future needs for services and facilities in both towns through a social infrastructure analysis based on projected population growth and benchmarking
  • A consultation program that engaged a range of stakeholders including private and public service providers, government agencies, resources sector and accommodation providers
